Graceful movements allow one to focus attention in all directions, in order to help discover our inner strength using gentle force. Observing small children, nature, birth and death and other process, helps people of old age to understand the vital, unadulterated and natural in life.
Upon conducting Tai Chi movements, the fingers should be held as gently and lightly as one would touch a new born child. In order to rediscover this approach to our senses, the individual must begin to consider the everyday in a new light. If we allow the movement to direct us in this way, it has not so much a hypnotic as in fact releasing effect.
